To deepen knowledge and understanding of artificial intelligence research and enhance students’ global vision and interdisciplinary practical skills, the School of Future Technology organized 30 students to participate in an artificial intelligence study and practice program at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore from August 10 to 17, 2025. Supported by HIT’s “Global Navigator” International Vision Enrichment Program, the visit’s core modules included corporate visits and academic exchanges, significantly broadening students’ understanding of artificial intelligence and its industrial applications in advanced technologies. As part of the program, the group visited Huawei Cloud’s “Innovation & Sustainability Centre” for a one-day career exploration and internship practice session.
During the corporate visit, Mr. Teo, a Solutions Architect at Huawei Cloud Singapore, provided a guided tour for the Career Practice Group. Students gained an in-depth understanding of Huawei Cloud’s market strategies and localization practices in Southeast Asia. This visit not only vividly illustrated the global development landscape of a “Digital China” but also encouraged students to reflect on the opportunities and challenges faced by Chinese tech companies in their internationalization process, further inspiring innovative awareness for grounding technology in China while serving the world.
