Representatives from the School of Future Technology accompanied faculty and students from Northeast Forestry University on a visit to the HIT Aerospace Museum. Guided by trained docents, the group explored exhibitions on the university’s journey in aerospace, spacecraft models, and cutting-edge achievements in space technology. They gained in-depth understanding of HIT’s critical contributions to major national projects such as Dongfanghong-1, the Long March rockets, and the Chinese Space Station, as well as the spirit of excellence and the deep patriotic sentiment underlying the university’s tradition, as encapsulated in the motto “Stringent Standards, Professional Proficiency.”
Afterwards, both schools held an exchange meeting in the museum conference room. Representatives from the School of Future Technology warmly welcomed their guests. Student representatives shared micro-party lectures and in-depth discussions. Li Guoquan, Party Branch Secretary of the “Academician Class” students, elaborated on the core significance of technological modernization in empowering China’s progress, drawing on insights from the 20th Central Committee’s fourth plenary session and the national 15th Five-Year Plan. He highlighted the important role of collaborative advances in science, education, and talent development, as well as strengthening innovation-driven growth for high-quality development. Chen Xingguang, representing Northeast Forestry University, focused on the spirit of red heritage, giving a deep interpretation of the Saihanba spirit and its contemporary significance, linking it to the school’s engineering strengths and practical experiences, and demonstrating youthful responsibility through spiritual enrichment and practical diligence.
